These four images were entered for the Book Illustration Competition (BIC) in 2018 run jointly by the House of illustration and The Folio Society. The brief was to provide the book binding plus 3 illustrations for selected short stories.

 

The entry was was long listed down to the last 24.

For each image I used a combination of photography, painting and collage, and combined these elements digitally.
